Last updated 16 September 2026. This policy matches what is configured with Paddle, the merchant of record for every Dead Ringer purchase.1. Full refund within 14 days
If you buy a Dead Ringer licence and it is not what you need, ask within 14 days of the purchase and we refund the full amount. No questions asked, no form to fill in.
2. How to ask
Email [email protected] from the address you bought with, or reply to the receipt Paddle sent you. Include the invoice number if you have it; it is in the portal. Refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method, usually within five to ten business days depending on your bank. A refunded licence is revoked, and the software stops on every machine it was activated on when it next checks in.
3. Renewals
The same 14-day window applies to each automatic renewal, counted from the renewal date. You can also cancel before a renewal in the customer portal so it never charges.
4. After 14 days
After the window we do not refund, but you keep the software for the rest of the term, and the version you have keeps working after it lapses.
5. Trials
Trials are free, so there is nothing to refund. We suggest trying before buying.
